Most of the screw compressors are provided with a side inlet connection, which in the refrigeration systems is called as an economizer port. The port is used for improvement of the refrigeration system efficiency by providing an additional suction capacity of the compressor.

Each two-stage screw compressor package of this series includes two separate drivelines in serial arrangement: a low-pressure plus high-pressure compression stage that ensure a most efficient and flexible operation.
